What to expect at your initial appointment

Treatment Adelaide OBGYN Obstetrician Gynaecologists Adelaide.

We aim to make all your visits to our practice calm and informative so that your concerns are listened to and we make a plan for treatment that moves you toward your goal of improved health.

Your first appointment will be 30 minutes in length where one of our team will take a thorough history about your concerns. If an examination is required we have the most up to date equipment to make it is as comfortable as possible.

If you are seeing us for a pregnancy you will usually see our midwife first and then one of the specialists. We perform ultrasounds at all appointments so you can see your baby grow. We love taking gorgeous 3D pictures of your little one with our state of the art ultrasound machine.

What should I bring to my initial appointment?

You should bring your medicare card and any recent scans or blood tests. We will usually already have a copy of the referral from your GP. If you need a support person then you are welcome to bring them along too.

Fees & Payments

Appointment fee is the upfront fee that patients must pay at each consultation, please note full payment of this fee is required on the day of your appointment. Please contact us for the most up to date fee list.

Please ensure your details are registered with Medicare as we will send your account electronically to Medicare and they will directly deposit your rebate into your account (usually on the same day).

Many patients benefit greatly from the medicare safety net which can significantly decrease the out of pocket expense.

Running on time

We do our best to run on time. If we are running significantly late because of an emergency (or birth!) our staff will call to let you know. If you are running late please call to let us know. Your time with us may be decreased so we don’t keep other patients waiting.

Cancellation Policy

Our appointment slots are very precious and if you need to cancel we would love the opportunity to offer your appointment to someone who needs us. We enforce a cancellation Fee (if failing to attend or if less than 48 hours notice is given. This is payable prior to booking your next appointment)
